Erős és fotosoppmentes fotók arról, hogy a pattanás teljesen normális dolog

Volt idő, amikor a 20 éves New York-i fotós, Peter DeVito nem mert magáról kitenni egy képet anélkül, hogy ne retusálta volna agyon. Ez az idő már elmúlt. Ma pedig követők tízezreit szedte össze a projektjével, amiben az utómunkázatlan, pőre bőrt ünnepli annak minden hibájával – ráirányítva a figyelmet arra, hogy egyszer vagy többször mindenki keresztülmegy ezen a fázison az életében.

Azért is érezte, hogy ezt kell bemutatnia, mert miközben nagyot megy a testpozitivitás és az önelfogadás a közösségimédiában, ez a terület eddig valahogy kimaradt. Mostanáig.

I've struggled with acne for a while, but recently, it has been getting progressively worse. I'm working on some photos that portray acne in a more positive light/that aim to at the very least just show that having acne is normal.

#AcneIsNormal – In 2017, I took barely any pictures of myself because I hated the way my skin looked. In 2018, I'm going to take as many as possible because even with my acne, I still look better than most of y'all headass bitches? *this is probably the last acne word portrait I'm doing of myself, but I'm going to pursue different projects that have to do with acne?*
