Hi there folks! Those of you who have been following my account for a while would know that I love the color orange. I also happen to like the fruit but I’m digressing here ?. I’ve used orange very frequently as a background to my artworks because I think it’s a happy color. It sets the mood for something fun, creative and exciting. iBOOKS IN 3D Hi everyone! Those who've been following me for a while would have gotten used to my Phoneframing technique. The Phoneframing artworks by design have been 2 dimensional and didn't have much depth. This artwork uses a new concept I've come up with which gives my artwork a 3D feel to it or at least tries to trick the eyes into thinking that it is a 3D image. Much like my original Phoneframing technique, I hope to hone this concept further in the coming months and create more complex illusions. Over the weekend I realised that my love for @krispykreme donuts is only superseded by my hatred for long queues… Never thought I'd have to wait for 2 hours for a donut… So much for fast food ?. Anyway…. After two failed attempts, I still haven't got hold of these delicious donuts and the low blood sugar levels have forced me to eat these lovely artisanal paper donuts made from the finest 160gsm paper in the land ?! Hi there everyone! You would noticed my absence from Instagram over the past few days – yesterday was the first day in a long time that I forgot to post an artwork! Here's why. The last couple of days have been quite forgetful for me – firstly, I had to travel back home from India without my wife and son. My wife fell badly I'll on the day of our travel and she had no choice but to stay back in India. If things weren't depressing enough, my flight from Dubai was delayed by over 2.5 hours which meant I reached home only in the wee hours of Monday morning. There is no worse feeling than reaching home to an empty house! Anyway, after a day of trying to get things back on track, I am finally back on Instagram (although not for too long, more details to follow ?) and glad to be #wakingupin Johannesburg again.
