Az ottani BKK eltökélten csempészi be időről-időre a művészetet a föld alá gyönyörű mozaikok formájában, William Wegman emberruhába öltöztetett kutyái például felbukkantak már így, és Bronx legendás alakjai úgyszintén, most pedig a 28. utcánál kerültek fel a falakra burjánzó virágok.

The newly renovated 28th Street station now has beautiful glass mosaics based on drawings by artist Nancy Blum, called "Roaming Underfoot." (These are on the downtown 6 side.) . According to the MTA, "Blum’s intent was to capture some of the magic of the nearby park, regarded as an urban sanctuary, and to enhance the station environment for transit riders. The artwork depicts seven flowering plants that are sourced from the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s Perennial Collection: Red Buds, Magnolias, Hellebores, Witch Hazel, Daffodils, Hydrangea and Camellia. The blooming plants were chosen as representation of plant species that withstand changing climate conditions of the city." . Which subway station has your favorite art?
